Which parts of the PSLE oral does KouShi help with?

Both. The PSLE oral has two parts: reading aloud, then a conversation about a short video (Stimulus-based Conversation, or SBC). KouShi has a separate practice for each part, and every practice has its own report, so your child can focus on the part that needs the most work.

How is reading aloud checked?

KouShi compares the recording with the passage and marks words said differently, words not read, extra words and long pauses right on the text. The report turns those into a short list of words to practise, and teachers can review and adjust any mark.

Is the AI teacher a live conversation, or recorded questions?

LaoShi listens to what your child says, understands their response, and asks follow-up questions in real time, just like a real PSLE examiner would.

Which languages do you support?

Chinese, Malay, Tamil and English, for P6 PSLE-style practice. Contact us if your school would like a language set up.

Which levels do you currently support?

KouShi focuses on P6 PSLE-style oral practice: reading aloud and the video conversation. P1 to P5 practice is on the way, adjusted to each level.

Do parents need to speak the language?

No. Every report comes with English alongside the Mother Tongue, so you can follow your child’s progress in the language you’re most comfortable with.

What about secondary school, O-Level and A-Level Chinese oral?

Secondary school support, including O-Level and A-Level H1 Chinese oral formats, is also on the way. We are adapting the same reading aloud and video conversation practice, and teacher reporting, for older learners.
